The story
Jacob listened to thunder boom like giant footsteps. Fear crawled up his spine.
He prayed,
"God, protect me in this storm."
He remembered that God rules the wind and rain. Slowly, his shaking stopped. The storm was still loud, but Jacob felt tucked into safety.
He fell asleep under God's protection.
