The story
Emma was afraid of the dark. Every night, she asked her parents to leave the light on.
One night, her dad said gently, "Let's try something new. Talk to God before you sleep."
Emma closed her eyes and whispered,
"Dear God, please stay with me in the dark."
She opened her eyes. The room was still dark—but it didn't feel scary anymore. It felt quiet… and safe.
Emma hugged her teddy bear and smiled.
"I'm not alone," she whispered.
Soon, she fell asleep peacefully.
