The story
Samuel had been hoping for something special—a trip his family had talked about—but the days kept passing and nothing changed. He felt restless and wanted it to happen right away.
That night, he folded his hands and prayed,
"Dear God, please help me wait. I trust You, even when I don't understand the timing."
He didn't get an answer out loud, but his heart felt a little quieter.
Days later, while he waited, Samuel practiced being patient at school and at home. When the trip finally came, he realized the waiting had helped him grow braver and kinder.
He whispered,
"Thank You, God. Your timing was better than mine."
