The story
Noah saw his mother carrying laundry and rushing to finish dinner. Without being asked, he cleared the table and put away his shoes neatly.
His mom paused, surprised and pleased.
"You just made my evening easier," she said, hugging him.
Noah felt a bright happiness—deeper than a treat. That night he prayed,
"God, I want to keep helping people."
Serving had become its own joy.
