The story
Martha didn't need loud words to talk to God. When the house grew still, she pulled her blanket to her chin and whispered,
"Dear God, thank You for today. Please watch over my family."
The room was dark, but her heart felt steady—as if Someone kind was sitting right beside her bed.
Martha smiled, closed her eyes, and felt calm and safe until sleep came.
